There are just a few things in life that can make me really really really happy. There are just days where I get really down and need something to pick me up...one of those things is of course the musical episode of Buffy
Once More With Feeling. To me television has never been better and I am instantly in a better mood. Another of my pick-me-ups is any kind of cupcake. No matter how blue or how down I am, put a cupcake in front of me and I am five again and instantly think..."wow things...don't suck....". But the end all be all of my pick-me-ups is....
This program just feels like a best friend. The one that makes you get out of bed and take a walk with them when all you really wanted to do was lay around and be sad. It is the best friend that makes you laugh and cry at the same time. It is the one thing that has never ceased to bring a smile to my face. I think that a radio show might be my best friend. Or my devotion might be because of this guy...
Oh Ira...how I love thee....So the point of this ramble is that This American Life is going to have a live broadcast (which is not something rare...they do this on occasion)....BUT THE BEST NEWS EVER????? It is going to be broadcast live to theaters across the nation....and one of the guests is JOSS WHEDON. As Ben put it...this is like a Mary-gasm! So on April 23rd I know that no matter how bad my day might be...I will have the best night of my life!

I am soooo excited for that! And I don't even have to go to KC, they are broadcasting at the "big" theater here.
I also have an unnatural love for Ira, and the Buffy musical episode.
